I taught elementary school for 32 years. Every September I welcomed students into my classroom with open arms. I loved my job and considered it to be an honor.

When my daughter was trying to conceive she had a difficult time getting pregnant.

I prayed every day, that she would get pregnant and have the baby she always wanted and I’d have a grandchild to love and nurture.

As months passed I told God if she wasn’t able to have a baby, for me, that was ok as He had given me the gift of teaching students that I loved and nurtured throughout the years.

But, my heart broke for her.

After trying so long the doctors said the only way it might happen would be through IVF.

My daughter is courageous , strong, loving, selfless, giving, diligent and and motivated. She endured the IVF process for months and the procedure was a success.

Her beautiful baby boy was born August 4th 2021.

IVF should never be banned. It’s a lifeline for women to motherhood.

Women who endure IVF are warriors.

Women historically have been denied rights.

Voting, equal pay, employment opportunities, and abortion.

Women are warriors. Help women in the fight.
